Evening Vigil by Bruce Capra-consignment.  This limited edition serigraph was produced in an edition of 300 s/n prints. From a private consignment.

Born in Denver, Colorado 1953, Bruce Capra started his career in the screen printing business as an apprentice to Gene Licht of New York. Capra quickly became a master screen printer. He screen printed works of art for such notable artist as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Earl Biss, Rance Hood and many others.
Capra attended the Foothills Institute of Art in Golden, Colorado. He studied under Greg Wilhelmi an associate educator at the Colorado Institute of Art, Denver, Colorado. As a fine art auctioneer for over 30 years he has conducted over 1,000 fine art auctions around the world.
Capra has been represented by Shelby Fine Arts, Mushroom Gallery and American Design.
“I consider myself to be a colorist, using recognizable objects and distorting them with vibrant lush colorful interaction. I have been heavily influenced by Kandinsky, Dali, Miro and of course the Impressionists. My works start as a memorable experience and as it progresses the work creates its own reality, almost painting itself.”
